Water ingress can be frustrating - particularly when the cause isn't immediately obvious.
In this project, our clients were experiencing significant water ingress around their balcony areas and beyond. Rather than simply treating the visible damage, our team investigated the underlying issues to understand why water was getting in and where the system was failing.
In collaboration with other skilled consultants, our assessment identified multiple contributing defects, requiring extensive remedial works to address the problem at its source.
The affected areas were stripped back, the underlying issues were rectified, and the necessary building elements were rebuilt and reinstated to provide a more effective and durable solution.
The result?
A fully restored apartment complex, with the balconies repaired and the space ready to be enjoyed again, with the underlying causes of the water ingress addressed, rather than simply covering up the symptoms.
This is what remedial construction is really about.
It's not always about what you can see. It's about understanding why the problem is happening in the first place, developing the right solution and delivering the works properly.
If you're experiencing water ingress, deteriorating balconies, failed waterproofing, cracking, concrete deterioration or other building defects, talk to a team that understands remedial construction.
