Very sad to hear about the passing of .dunnett
His work was so groundbreaking and joyful!
I can't believe it, what a huge loss for the landscape industry and humanity.
A true pioneer.
My thoughts are with his family and close friends.

Demolition started this week for a very fun courtyard garden! The existing concrete will have planting in the gaps and be surrounded with a native plant pallet, stunning boulders and a water feature. doing most of the hard work.

Planted a couple months ago, this little east facing garden is thriving! 🌿🌿🌿

We used Donnybrook sandstone from to clad the steps and create an informal entry path, tying in nicely with the existing paving.

This hedge window encourages a sneaky peak into the main garden in our Nedlands project. The hedge divides the main garden with a sunken pergola area, with the window positioned to enjoy the tops of planting beyond at eye level.

This garden in Nedlands is really starting to find its feet after being installed last summer.
The lower section is a wonderful chaos of cottage plants and the main garden is trying to be a slightly calmer version.

Fun little project with some interesting micro climates within the planting. It just needs some furniture now and by summer should be a nice cool spot to chill out surrounded by plants. 🌿

I was lucky enough to go to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year! It was brilliant and inspiring...

One thing that really stood out was a general commitment to creating gardens that have a low impact on the planet and respond to the climate, e.g.:

- Gardens that encourage better management of rain water and help with flash flooding
- Gardens built without using a single power tool
- Gardens incorporating reused materials that would otherwise end up in landfill
- Displays that used clay wildlife ponds, h**p walls, cork walls, and planting schemes that are diverse and feel wild - not perfect and manicured - encouraging more diverse fauna.

Creating gardens is as much about our enjoyment as they are an opportunity to restore and regenerate the land.
