We replace broken or damaged sprinklers and nozzles; replace faulty solenoids; install & programme reticulation controllers; flush lines for blockages; source leaks; replace broken pipes; perform seasonal system audits; carry out water flow & water pressure tests; conduct bore irrigation repair work; modify existing set ups as well as design and install new sprinkler or drip irrigation systems for both residential and commercial properties.

who is wet frog retic?

Shane Vendt is wet frog retic. He is the business owner and your reticulation technician.

business beginnings : once a pond a time!

After a career in management spanning more than 10 years in aftermarket sales and customer service, Shane decided it was time for a change and through a chance meeting, he soon found himself working for a local Perth reticulation company digging trenches and playing with water!

With a flair for unfaltering customer service, specialist knowledge and a happy demeanor, Shane quickly established himself as a reputable reticulation technician and it didn’t take long for the firm’s clientele base to start asking for him by name.

So having established himself as a sought after garden irrigator, Shane decided it was time to go out on his own. This would allow him to freely build up his own customer service business specialising in reticulation management and irrigation solutions.

as for the business name?

Well, Shane wanted something that represented his career transformation and something that was associated with a healthy garden and the changing landscape he worked in.

“wet frog retic - keeping your pad green!”

When the name, wet frog retic was proposed by his wife, it was an instant smile and a firm ‘yes’ from Shane! It was different yet relevant, memorable and a little bit cute too! Shane also had a photograph of a motorbike frog who had taken up residence in his backyard. As a well known frog in southwest Australia, it was the perfect business icon.
