Mother & Daughter on the Tools

How good is this!

Megan and Isabellah — mother and daughter, both riggers, and currently working side by side in the Pilbara with one of our valued crane clients.
This one is even better for us because it’s Isabellah’s first job with ORCA, and she’s absolutely smashing it. She’s settled into the crew, getting stuck in and doing a great job alongside Megan and the other members of the ORCA pod on site.

There’d have to be something pretty cool about heading off to work in the Pilbara with your mum and getting to work alongside each other doing the same trade. 💪

We love seeing our people doing well on site, and it’s even better when we get moments like this.

A big thanks to our client for continuing to support the ORCA crew and giving our people the opportunity to get out there and show what they can do.

A pretty bloody proud moment for the ORCA pod.

ORCA Recruitment (Australia) has been featured in the latest edition of Cranes and Lifting Magazine

When we started ORCA, the goal was never to simply become another labour hire company.

We wanted to build something genuinely connected to the Australian crane industry — a business that understands the people on the ground, supports our clients properly and, most importantly, looks after the crew who wear the ORCA shirt.

To now see our story across the pages of one of the industry's leading publications is a pretty cool milestone.

But the article isn't really about a magazine feature.
It's about how far the pod has come and most importantly our people!

From an idea and a handful of people who believed in what we were trying to build, to a growing team, an incredible crew in the field, strong relationships across the crane industry and now the next chapter of ORCA taking shape.

We're still learning.
We're still improving.
And we're definitely still hungry & hunting.

Another ORCA Recruitment (Australia) Training Day done and dusted! 🏗️💪

We probably harp on about these days a fair bit — and flood the socials with them 😂 — but there’s a reason for it.

We genuinely believe in investing in our people.

Today we had a great mix of existing ORCA crew sharpening their skills alongside new starters completing their pre-employment VOCs.

Lloyd Bucci once again led the charge, with the awesome support of Robert Owens from Diligent Industry Training Pty Ltd , giving our crew the opportunity to learn, ask questions and build confidence in a controlled environment.

Operators focused on Pick & Carry and All Terrain operations, while our rigging crews worked through dual lifting operations.

A massive thanks to Riverside Crane Hire W.A for opening up the yard and hosting us, and of course Sarah for finishing the day off around the BBQ! 👊

New starters learning.
Experienced crew sharpening their skills.
Knowledge being passed on.
Everyone looking out for each other.

Two Years of Orca Recruitment

Two years. Two years of hard work, determination, resilience and an unwavering belief in what Orca Recruitment could become.

Today, we celebrate more than just two years in business. We celebrate the journey, the milestones, the challenges we have overcome and, most importantly, the people who have helped make Orca Recruitment what it is today.

From the very beginning, there has been a vision to build a recruitment company based on strong relationships, trust, commitment and delivering genuine value. Turning that vision into reality has taken determination, countless hours, difficult decisions and a team willing to keep pushing forward — even when things weren't easy.

Looking back at what has been achieved in just two years is something we should all be incredibly proud of.

Every milestone has been the result of people believing in the vision and being prepared to put in the work to make it happen.
