It’s been a few weeks since we did a late reno on Adam’s lawn. We initially cut it low and applied some of the good stuff to get it back on track some time before, but since the reno and some liquid products it is bouncing back incredible!
Always daunting before ripping it up with a scarifier when it’s nice and green but it’s been well worth it, its sitting nice and looking healthy and fingers crossed we can get a reel mower in this in a few weeks before the temps start to cool down!

We got back down to Adam’s to get into the much needed renovation!
We started by giving it a low mow, followed that up with a light scarify using the Ryobi battery scarifier, a clean up with the rotary and then finished it with a top dress with some lawn blend.
Very late in the season to be doing an aggressive renovation so we made sure to go easy, but even going lighter we still managed to remove so much thatch and dead stuff that sits below unseen!
We put down some kelp product, some humic and wetting agent, and some granular fertiliser and made sure it got a good drink! Will post regular updates on how this comes back but with the nice heat and plenty of water this is going to come back a treat!

We haven’t had a chance to get back round to Adam’s since our first visit, but things are ticking along nicely even though it’s been a little bit, and thankfully Adam has been keeping the lawn well trimmed!
First visit was getting it lower to remove some of the bad growth, and then an application of the good stuff with wetting agent and some fertiliser, add constant watering and regular mowing and it’s coming up beautifully!
Next visit is when we really get into it with more removal of old and dead stuff, more liquid goods
and top it off with some top dress and we will have a reel mower on this in no time! Check the difference so far…….

Little project that I am getting into on Adam’s front lawn
We are gonna be working on this over the next few months to get it back to looking lush and healthy again! There is a little bit of w**d that we will tackle, but the priority being the amount of sponginess from years of build up.
We started by a general clean up, dropping the height using the rotary in preparation for a light dethatch later, edged and application of some fertiliser and wetting agent!

First official job on the books!!
I was in to give it a little clean before Christmas entertainment! Lawn is maintained by another mower man but was on a well earned break so I managed to get down to just give it a tidy up! A cut with the rotary and an edge where I could and it came up a treat! Thanks for the work Jessica!

Been quiet recently…….been out at work for the last 3 weeks and finally home to give the lawns some love!
Thought I’d share a picture of how my lawns are sitting about 9 weeks post reno (first time renoer) and after a crazy amount of hot days in Perth!
The unfortunate thing with working away is the lawns get away from me a little bit, but all the more fun when I get back home to get them on track! Few dry patches in my front lawn due to the heat but honestly stoked at how they are sitting and how they will be looking for Christmas!
Always playing around and trying new things, currently using Ralphy's Lawn & Garden Supplies products and cutting with my newly purchased rotary mower instead of my reel mower at the moment just to mix it up and hone the skills with different things!

A lawn I have been tinkering with over the last 4-6 weeks!
My neighbour has allowed me to get my hands on his lawns over the last 4-6 weeks! From a little reno using my battery scarifier, to a top dress and to a regular cut with some fertiliser and soil wetter, a few shots of a bit of the progress so far and honestly it has come up beautiful! Still some patches to fill in, but from waaaay back when I started to how they are looking now there is some serious progress!

We are a little hobby business that is just starting up in Perth WA! I really wanna take my passion of mowing my lawn to other people’s, whether you just don’t have time or it’s not quite your thing, I would love to give your lawn a bit of TLC.
