We are looking for a construction administrator to join our team

The Project
Installation of communications infrastructure and electrical services into newly constructed facilities

Location
HMAS Stirling, Garden Island, WA 6168

Duration
Minimum of one year, the project is anticipated to run for three years

The Role
To provide administrative support, coordinating and supporting a small project management team
You will be based on site working eight hours per day, five days a week

About you
Previous similar experience in an engineering and/or construction role
Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project
Great organisational abilities and a good all rounder
A baseline security clearance is required which means you must be an Australian citizen
(Don’t worry if you don’t have a clearance, we’ll arrange this)

The Project
Installation of communications infrastructure and electrical services into newly constructed facilities

Location
HMAS Stirling, Garden Island, WA 6168

Duration
Minimum of one year, the project is anticipated to run for three years

The Role
Assist in managing all aspects of the project life cycle
Undertake a wide variety of activities such as liaison, reporting, risk assessments, compliance, and project deliverables
Monitor compliance to scope, health and safety, schedule, cost, quality, and risk
Reporting upon deliverables such as schedule, progress, variations, TQ’s and financial
You will be based on site working eight hours per day, five days a week

About you
Previous similar experience in a construction role
Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project
Great organisational abilities and good all-round experience of; site construction, interfacing multiple work packages, resolving problems, testing, commissioning, completion, and hand over
A baseline security clearance is required which means you must be an Australian citizen

This role is responsible for the support and delivery of upgrade and/or refresh projects to uplift facilities from end of life, and out of support, and includes primary IT and OT Hosting infrastructure and associated networks. Furthermore, typically leading onto upgrading, increasing resilience, and remediating cooling, power, backup power and remote monitoring/alarm escalation of critical hosting environments

Typical Responsibilities
 Auditing, requirements gathering, developing and writing the scopes of work
 Development of detailed cost models and schedules
 Liaison with product vendors and contractors for technical solutions, specifications and costings
 Lead efforts to elicit, analyse, document, and communicate key business processes requirements from initial identification through to selection and definition phases
 Identifying and managing key stakeholders
 Reviewing ongoing design works including Disaster Recovery and Service Continuity plans in accordance with Technology and Facilities standards and frameworks
