I harvested this basket full of tomatoes yesterday which include the following varieties : Sungold , Blueberry , Yellow Pear , Ice and Black Cherry. During the week the trellis , which these plants are growing on , collapsed due to strong winds .
But to be honest with you I could see this structural fail coming last week and I did nothing about it ! The trellis which I had put together just wasn't a strong enough support for this vigorous plants.
It all worked out ok in the end though , no plants were uprooted and I managed to prop it back with some extra support . And most importantly I've learned from my gardening mistake.
