Last week, Wendy swapped the office for an evening of conversations and connections at LinkedIn Local Rockhampton.

Seen here catching up with Kate from Yanta, it was another opportunity to spend time with people from across Rockhampton’s business and industry community and hear what’s happening across the region.

For Industrial CQ, those conversations matter. Staying connected with local businesses, understanding the challenges they’re facing and hearing about the projects and opportunities ahead all help us remain part of the industries and communities we work within.

Of course, Wendy has never needed too much encouragement to have a chat... so networking events tend to suit her pretty well. 😂

We spotted Wendy out and about at last week’s Connecting Industry Luncheon with BMD Group… although apparently nobody told her where the camera was. 😄

Camera awareness aside, getting out of the office and into the room at industry events is important for the team at Industrial CQ.

Central Queensland is built on relationships. Taking the time to attend events like this gives Wendy the opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, meet new people, hear directly from major companies about what’s happening across industry and stay connected to the projects and opportunities developing across our region.

You never quite know where a conversation might lead, and sometimes simply being in the room is the most important part.

It’s certainly not the Yellow Brick Road… but we reckon Dorothy might have been tempted to leave the path for this one.

This is Moon Deck, and yes, it really does glow like that.
