🌟MEET THE TEAM - ALEX🌟

Meet Alex, our A-Grade Electrician!

Alex started with Rockys in August this year and brings 10 years of industry experience across commercial, industrial and renewable energy projects. He brings a wealth of technical knowledge and a practical, can-do attitude to the team.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys getting outdoors for a bit of hunting and has recently taken on the challenge of running a marathon! 🏃‍♂️

We’re proud to have Alex’s experience, problem-solving skills and passion for quality on our team.

🌟 MEET THE TEAM – JAXON! 🌟

Jaxon first joined us for work experience, and after a second stint with the team, it was clear he’d be a great fit! The boys thought highly of him, so bringing him on board as an apprentice was an easy decision.

Jaxon officially joined us in August 2026 as a first-year apprentice and has already made a fantastic start. He has a great work ethic, is always willing to give things a go, and is a quick and enthusiastic learner.

Outside of work, there’s plenty happening for Jaxon too! He turns 18 this month and is all booked in to get his driver’s license the very next day.

We’re stoked to have Jaxon as part of the team and look forward to seeing him continue to learn, grow and develop his skills throughout his apprenticeship.

Welcome to the team, Jaxon! Great to have you on board! 🙌

❌Your solar company shouldn’t disappear when the installers leave❌

At Rockys, we believe installing your solar system is just the beginning.

We’re proud to provide ongoing, local support long after installation, because we know solar doesn’t stop needing attention once the panels are on your roof.

Whether it’s helping you reconnect your inverter to your new Wi-Fi, adjusting your battery reserve settings, or coming out to check on your system, we’re here to help.

No call centres. No being passed around. Just a local team who knows your system and is here when you need us.

Local team. Local support. Here for the long haul. 💚☀️

Thinking about making the switch to an EV?

With some of the most affordable electric vehicles now hitting the Australian market, going electric is becoming more accessible than ever.

So why keep paying for fuel when you can charge at home?

Investing in a home EV charger means you can plug in when you get home and wake up ready to go, all from the convenience of your own driveway.

Even better? Pair your EV charger with solar and use your own renewable energy to help power your car.

EV + Solar + Home Charger = a smart combination.

Thinking about making the switch? Talk to the team at Rocky’s Solar about EV charging options for your home.

We’ve been hearing reports from clients who have been told they need to sign a contract immediately to secure the current Federal Battery Rebate.

The rebate is determined by the installation date — not the date you sign your contract.

With the rebate reducing from 1 January, your battery simply needs to be installed by the end of the year to be eligible for the current rebate amount.

So don’t feel pressured to sign on the spot. You have time to ask questions, compare your options and make an informed decision without unnecessary pressure
