I'm all about pushing boundaries with Solar and Lithium! Over the last few weeks, I have been putting our EVE 280k to the test running half the house. Two weeks ago I stepped up the Solar input. With the help of G2 Energy Solutions who supplied me with the solar panels for the test. I put 950w of solar into a single 280K with amazing results. Coming into winter I thought Let's go further! So in the next coming weeks, we're going for 2.4kw!! Lets see if we can get 70A into the battery in all weather. If that's not pushing boundaries I'll eat my hat!! 💪🇦🇺

** note, none of this installation is connected to the household electrical system. All of the appliances used for load testing are running from a stand alone inverter with its own circuit protection.

Testing of the new OFF-GRID INSTALLATIONS 280Ah EVE over this weekend!!!
Just finished the charge and balance cycle, so far everything is looking spot on!
Initial data would suggest capacity is closer to 300Ah!!

Well, performed the charge test on the cheap 100ah lithium today. Had to stop the test. BMS light came on when cell 2 hit 3.6. It kept charging. I pulled the pin at 3.68 because it was still climbing. I saw it hit 3.78! but didn't have enough hands to pull charge and take a photo.
Voltage @ terminlas was 14v, charger was set to 14.2
Anyone that says "some lithium batteries are too expensive", and "I can get one cheaper that has good reviews" 🥺 is playing roulette with their families lives!!
