A large and fairly technical driveway refresh and extension recently completed.

This driveway had turned into a rally car track crossed with a slip and slide every time it rained. Most of the surface material had washed out onto the road.

“I’ve got a mate with a machine who can do it cheaper.”
And that’s fair enough — everyone loves a bargain.

But before you go that way, it’s worth asking a few questions.

Does your “mate” actually know what he’s doing, or will he dive in, make a big mess and damage property? If something gets damaged, is he insured? Will he even turn up when he says he will, or spend half the day trying to get the machine started?

DIY or choosing a cheap operator can be tempting but I have been called on to finish multiple jobs before, costing the client more in the long run.

I take pride in doing things properly — turning up when I say I will, treating your property with respect, and getting the job done safely and efficiently the first time. You’re not just paying for a machine, you’re paying for experience, local knowledge, and peace of mind.
