FLOODING POSSIBLE IN MT LOFTY RANGE CATCHMENTS FROM SATURDAY AND EYRE PENINSULA FROM SUNDAY

A low pressure trough over southern SA is a slow-moving feature that will move northeastwards today and Saturday, allowing a cooler southerly change to extend throughout. This will bring showers and thunderstorms tending to areas of rain on Saturday across the Mt Lofty Ranges.

An upper-level disturbance at the weekend will be responsible for a low pressure system developing about the western agricultural area on Sunday.

Catchments remain dry ahead of the expected rainfall.

A band of rainfall is likely to bring 30 - 50 mm overnight Friday and into Saturday over the Mt Lofty Ranges, with higher rainfall totals possible.

During Sunday, heavier falls of 60 - 100 mm are forecast over the Eyre Peninsula, with isolated falls of up to 150 mm.

Rainfall on Friday and Saturday across the Mt Lofty Ranges may cause rapid localised river and creek level rises, with possible isolated minor flooding under higher possible rainfall totals.

Heavy rainfall across the Eyre Peninsula on Sunday may cause areas of ponding and overland flow, along with rapid rises in local creeks and overbank flooding. Roads, travel and transport may be impacted, and communities may be cut off.

Light and Wakefield Rivers
Angas and Bremer Rivers
Torrens and metropolitan rivers and creeks
Gawler River
Onkaparinga River
West Coast Rivers and Creeks
Eastern Eyre Peninsula
Lower Eyre Peninsula

To all our valued clients;
As of midnight tonight we will be significantly pulling back on any works done.
Please see the important, specific information in the photo attached, supplied by our industry leaders; Master Plumbers.
Currently, Axe is in Oak Valley, arriving well before lockdown commenced, tested onsite and returninh a negative Covid-19 swab. He will remain there for 10+ days. Once he leaves, it will be unlikely that he will be able to return for awhile. He is providing the community with essential plumbing works, including sanitation.
Our other employees are on "pandemic leave." They will not be attending jobsites, even if previously booked. If you see our vehicles on the road, rest assured they are attending jobs of a health priority, as outlined in attached photo.
Sanitation, access to clean, safe water is of our only priority.
Please be in touch if, and only if:
• your toilet blocks and flushing is impossible, after attempting to clear with a plunger,
• internal drains or sinks backflow or overflow
• your HWS breaks down and you have no access to hot water
• your business premises needs maintenance if it is an essential service
Contact emergency services if, at any time:
• You smell gas
