One thing we’ve learned working on rural properties is that the day rarely finishes at sunset.

Horses still need feeding, stock still need checking and there’s always one more job to do before heading inside.

Feeding animals after dark isn’t much fun when you’re relying on a torch, especially when it’s part of the daily routine.

We recently installed new shed and yard lighting to help make those early starts and late finishes safer and more practical.

Simple improvements can make a big difference when you’re working around the property every day.

We’re in the home stretch of our Top Blokes Foundation Reel Fishing Challenge and we’d love your help to get us over the line.

So far we’ve raised $850, leaving just $650 to reach our goal of $1,500!

Yesterday, Todd had the privilege of attending the Top Blokes graduation at Stroud Public School to see our son Scout graduate. We would like to extend a huge thank you to our boys mentors Ian and Matt they do some amazing work and listening to the boys speak about what they’d learned was incredibly inspiring.

Throughout the program, they explored important topics including:
🎣 Reshaping masculinity
💙 Anger management
🧠 Healthy minds
⚠️ Risk taking and peer pressure
🤝 Healthy relationships

Seeing the confidence, growth and positive impact this program has had on these young boys reminded us exactly why we’re taking on this challenge.

Every dollar raised helps Top Blokes continue delivering these life-changing programs to more young men in our local communities.

We’ve recently been involved in the restoration of this beautiful church and surrounding property, helping ensure it can continue to be enjoyed for years to come.

It’s always rewarding to work on projects where preserving heritage and character is just as important as modernising the electrical installation.

Through careful planning and thoughtful lighting choices, the charm and atmosphere of this unique space have been maintained while bringing the electrical systems up to modern standards.

TOP BLOKES REEL TALK FISHING CHALLENGE – FINAL WEEK! 🎣

We're into the final stretch of our Reel Talk Fishing Challenge, with the challenge wrapping up at the end of this month.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we've raised $725 towards our $1,500 fundraising goal and logged an amazing 155 hours fished towards our new target of 200 hours.

This week, Todd will have the privilege of attending the graduation of the Stroud Public School 2026 Top Blokes Class. It's a wonderful reminder of why this program is so important and why we're passionate about helping ensure it remains available for local boys.

The Top Blokes program provides young men with:
✅ Positive male role models and mentors
✅ Support to build confidence and resilience
✅ Skills to manage emotions and mental wellbeing
✅ Healthy relationship education
✅ Leadership and decision-making skills
✅ A safe space to discuss challenges and seek support
✅ Stronger connections within their school and community

Programs like Top Blokes can have a lasting impact on the lives of young men, helping them navigate some of the challenges that come with growing up and equipping them with skills they'll carry into adulthood.

Every dollar raised helps ensure more young local boys can access this valuable program in the future.

One of the strangest faults Todd has ever encountered.

After a period of heavy rain, Todd was called to investigate an electrical fault at a local home.

While working through the fault-finding process, he received a shock from a timber door frame.

A timber door frame.

As strange as it sounds, testing revealed 224 volts present on the timber door frame surrounding a light switch.

The cause was eventually traced to extensive termite damage hidden within the wall cavity. A roof leak had allowed moisture to enter the termite-damaged timber, and when combined with damaged wiring, it created an unintended leakage path that allowed electricity to travel where it never should have.

The result was one of the most unusual faults Todd has seen in decades of electrical work.

While most people notice the lights, power points and appliances inside a home, the real work often starts underground.

Over the years we’ve completed countless metres of trenching and underground power installations for new homes, sheds and rural properties throughout the area.

It’s not the flashy side of electrical work, but it’s the foundation that every successful project relies on.

TODAY IS THE BIG DAY!! And what a beautiful day it’s turned out to be!! Nothing but sunshine for The 2026 Boots & Buckles Bash! ☀️🍻🎶

Don’t forget to bring your chairs, picnic blankets, warm jackets, maybe bring some cash with you to enter our raffles and cash prize draws. But most of all - make sure you’ve got those dancin’ boots on!!

We’ve got the best lineup of bands yet this year and can’t wait to welcome each of them to the stage!

Doors open to the event from 2pm with our beautiful soloist, Elaine Holden playing on stage until our bands start at 3pm!!
