2+ tonnes of soil... a whole lot of hard work and more rain than we ordered! 😂🌧️

This backyard paving job definitely didn't go exactly to plan but we weren't going to let a bit of Sunshine Coast weather stop us.

We dug out over 2 tonnes of soil to create the new paved area, battled a couple of delays along the way and finally got it finished.

And looking at the end result… it was definitely worth the muddy boots! 👌

Our clients are thrilled and that's what makes all the hard work worthwhile. 🌿🧱💚

We were so excited to receive this beautiful review from a client who trusted us with her garden right from the beginning. What started as one project has turned into several jobs with more still to come and we are so incredibly grateful for the continued trust.

Seeing the transformation from before to after is pretty special but knowing our clients are happy with the work we do means even more.

Sunday start! 🌿☀️

Up early this morning to pick up some fresh plants and get a little Sunday work done on a garden that needs some drainage work before we return for the next stage.

While Sundays are usually a day for the family, sometimes the job calls for it.. especially when we are working around the weather, scheduling and what the garden needs. 🌱

A little Sunday effort now means we can keep the next stage of the project moving along when we return. 💪🌿

Now… back to Sunday mode! 😂

🌴 Meet the Pandanus that looks beautiful from a distance… and bites back up close! 😂

Did you know Pandanus is also known as the Screw Pine thanks to the spiral arrangement of its leaves? 🌿

Those unusual roots around the base are called prop roots, helping support and anchor the tree. And those beautiful tropical-looking leaves? Yep… they are every bit as sharp as they look! 😅

I had the job of getting in amongst the tree to trim and dig out years of old growth that had become wedged between the roots and trunk. Let's just say the Pandanus definitely won that round of the battle and I now understand why Steve was quite happy to work out the back away from this beauty! 🌿🩹😂

However, Steve did carefully remove a large branch that had started reaching towards the public walkway. With pedestrians, especially children, using the path, removing the potential hazard was an important part of giving this beautiful tree a safer, cleaner shape.

And here's another cool fact… Pandanus has been used traditionally for food, weaving and other practical purposes, with different species producing distinctive pineapple-like fruit. 🌴

A pretty fascinating tree when you stop and look a little closer… even if it does fight back! 😂🌿

From overgrown to blank canvas! 🌿➡️✨

Stage One of this backyard transformation is DONE!

We cleared the overgrowth, removed unwanted plants and opened up the entire space, giving this backyard a fresh start and a much better foundation for what’s to come.

And we are nowhere near finished yet! 👀

Next up: fresh planting and a brand-new lawn with proper drainage. 🌱

The best transformations take a little time… and we can't wait to show you what this one becomes! 💚

From a blank space to four custom-built planter boxes! 🌿🔨

Over Monday and Tuesday, we built four large planter boxes designed specifically around our client's needs, with easy access, plenty of growing space and proper drainage built in from the start.

Halfway through the build, our client decided two of the boxes needed a little more height… so we made it happen! That's the beauty of custom work.. we can adapt as the project comes together. 💪

We left the planting up to her because she wanted the fun of choosing her own plants and bringing the garden to life herself. 🌱🌸 We can't wait to see the finished result when she sends us the photos… although we've already joked we will be popping back for some fresh herbs! 😂🌿

We finished the boxes using quality materials, including rocks and soil from Coastal Landscape Supplies, because getting the foundations right is just as important as what eventually grows in them.

Another project completed, another happy client and we can't wait to see what she creates! 💚

Yep, we do that too! ✂️

Steve has all the extension gear but when you're 6'7", sometimes you just are the extension! 😂

Not every project needs a huge budget to make a big difference. 🌿✨

Our client was upfront about what she wanted to spend, so we worked together to create a plan that would give her the biggest impact within her budget.

With a good garden tidy-up, some fresh plants, a generous layer of mulch and clearing the soil away from the back fence to help protect it for years to come, we transformed the space into somewhere she can now sit back, relax and enjoy. 🌸

One of the things we love most about what we do is helping our clients achieve the best possible result—whatever their budget may be.
