Clean, modern and built to last.

Stainless steel wire balustrades are one of our favourite handrail options, especially for homes with a view. The slim stainless steel wires almost disappear, allowing you to enjoy the outlook without bulky rails getting in the way.
Not only do they look great, they're incredibly durable, low maintenance and built to handle the Australian climate for years to come.
We love pairing them with a 140mm timber top rail. It adds warmth to the design, complements the deck perfectly, and gives you the perfect spot to rest your beer while you take in the view. 🍻

At Harley Built, we believe the best solution isn't always replacing everything. On this project, we rebuilt two outdoor staircases while reusing the existing posts, replacing the Stringers decking and balustrades wherever was possible to keep the area safe.

Some projects are about more than just building... they're about finding a way to make it happen. 👌

This one definitely had its challenges.
Before we could even put a shovel in the ground, we discovered a buried sewer manhole right where the new outdoor area was planned. That meant working through approvals with Unitywater, obtaining consent to build over the sewer, and securing a boundary relaxation through council.

We worked alongside our clients every step of the way—from preparing drawings and coordinating approvals to managing the entire process—making what could have been a stressful experience as smooth as possible.

Once everything was approved, we transformed an unusable area into a beautiful outdoor space the whole family can enjoy for years to come.

At Harley Built, we don't just build decks, fences and retaining walls—we help navigate the challenges that come with them.

From tired and unsafe to built to last. 👌

These front entry steps had seen better days. The original frame was built to code and with years of moisture it had taken their toll, leaving the structure rotten and in need of replacement.

We completely removed the existing steps and rebuilt them from the ground up, ensuring everything was constructed to current standards.

To maximise the lifespan of the new frame, we also installed VapourSeal joist protection, helping to keep moisture away from the timber and protect the investment for years to come.

Finished with beautiful hardwood decking, these new entry steps have completely transformed the front of the home while providing a safe, durable and long-lasting entrance.
