💡 Tuesday Tip from Dubs 💡

Your aircon remote does more than just flick the thing on. Here’s a quick run-through of the buttons that actually matter:

🔄 Swing – Hit this once and the flappy bits (louvers) start swingin’. Hit it again to lock ‘em in place. Best bet? Point it high and aim the air across the room, not just at your legs. Helps cool (or warm) the whole space properly.

🌬️ Fan Speed – Low fan speed’s perfect at night once the room’s already comfy – keeps it quiet so you can sleep. High fan speed’s the go in bigger rooms when you need to throw the air a bit further and get the whole place feelin’ just right.

❄️ Cool Mode – for hot days
☀️ Heat Mode – for chilly mornings
💧 Dry Mode – when it’s humid and sticky, but you don’t wanna turn the room into a fridge

Blowin’ warm air? Smellin’ a bit dusty? Not coolin’ like it used to?

Heaps of people reckon you need to book a full aircon service every time it slows down — but honestly, most of the time you just need to clean the filters.
Takes 5 minutes, costs ya nothin’, and can save you heaps. 💰

Here’s the go:
🧽 Open the front cover of your unit
🧼 Slide out the filters and give ’em a vacuum or rinse under cold water
⏳ Let ’em dry fully
🔙 Pop ’em back in — too easy

You’d be surprised how much gunk builds up and slows everything down.

Still not runnin’ sweet after that?
Might be time to call in the pros.
