3i Electrical is a friendly, family-run electrical business seeking an experienced Scheduling Officer / Administration Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to be a key part of a supportive small business.

✅ About the Role
Working from our Bundaberg office, you will play a vital role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. No two days are the same, and you’ll be the central point of contact between customers, tradespeople, and management.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch

✅ Key Responsibilities
• Provide general administrative support to company directors and tradespeople
• Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries and job progress updates
• Organise, implement, and maintain job schedules using GeoOp scheduling software
• Coordinate tradespeople and subcontractors
• Source materials as required
• Maintain job documentation including SWMS, JSAs, and work permits
• Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements
• Coordinate employee training
• Assist with tendering and quotations
• Manage vehicle servicing and maintenance schedules

✅ About You
The successful applicant will have:
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A polite and professional phone manner
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience using GeoOp (highly regarded)
• Basic electrical industry knowledge (ideal but not essential)
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently and show initiative
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Do you need more safety switches or a generator changeover switch this storm season? Call 3i Electrical!

Storms and floods are part of life in Queensland so it's important to be prepared to keep you and your home electrically safe.

There are a number of things you can do before, during and after a storm or flood.

🏡 Prepare your property 🏡
• install safety switches
• pack up electrical equipment you’re not using and store in a safe place
• switch off and unplug electrical equipment when a storm approaches
• listen to your radio station for weather updates
• stay away from powerlines, trees and watercourses.

👀 Cleaning up 👀
• be careful cleaning up after storms or severe weather as powerlines can be hidden by fallen branches or debris
• report fallen, low or damaged powerlines to emergency services or your local electricity distributor
• stay away and don’t touch your switchboards if they’re damaged
• listen to your radio for further warnings and advice
• if you have solar power, avoid getting on the roof unless absolutely necessary and keep away from panels and their cables
• don’t do your own electrical work – it’s illegal and dangerous!
