Fuel prices are climbing again, and a lot of people are starting to look at EVs a bit more seriously.

One thing most people don’t realise is how cheap they are to run when charging at home:

⚡ Around $3–$8 per 100km depending on your electricity rate
⛽ Compared to $12–$18+ per 100km for petrol

But the big mistake I see is people relying on standard power points long-term.

A proper EV charger setup:
• Charges significantly faster
• Is much safer (dedicated circuit + protection)
• Can include load management to avoid switchboard upgrades

Every home is different, so there’s no one-size-fits-all setup, that’s usually where people get stuck.
