It was established near Toowoomba in 2001. Our stud is based on imported embryo stock from the South African Studs of Floors Brand, Dries Wiese and Martin Compion Jnr. We have subsequently selected breeding stock from Kaya White Dorper Stud and other leading Australian studs. Our aim is to breed a White Dorper true to breed standard, with size, length, muscling and shedding ability, suitable for t
he Australian meat sheep industry. In 2010, we relocated our stud to Goondiwindi where we have the opportunity to undertake a rapid expansion of our breeding ewe flock. Embryo transfer programs are being regularly used with our superior ewes. In an exciting new era for our stud, we have selected 70 of our stud ewes to partner with Bunderra Stud in Thorpedale, Gippsland. Bunderra is owned by Murray and Linda Cornwall, who have been developing an elite line of White Dorpers along African bloodlines. We are a member of Lambplan and continue to regularly show our stock to ensure that our flock is true to type. The flock is Brucellosis accredited and Dermatosparaxis tested. We are able to export semen and embryos to most countries. Visitors are always welcome.
