Team Channel Islands Surfboards supported by Maneuverlineさわかみチームチャレンジ一宮優勝!
さわかみチームチャレンジ出場チームにおいて、今回我々チームの参加はサーフボードメーカーとして初となりました。
チームライダー大橋海人と村上舜に須田喬史郎と石田海夏を加え、岡島宏盛がコーチというチーム編成。
チャネルアイランズサーフボードで素晴らしいサーフィンを披露し、その結果が今回の優勝につながりました。
もちろん優勝する事も目標でありましたが、我々チームの一番の目標は勝ちにこだわり過ぎず「素晴らしいサーフィンを披露し、サーフィンの素晴らしさを伝えて会場とライブを盛り上げる」事を全員で意識してヒートを楽しみました。
ラウンド1は2025年優勝チーム“Team ROCKHOPPER & WAVE WARRIORS”とオリンピア2名を率いる地元“Team ICHINOMIYA”という強豪と対戦し、見事1位でセミファイナルへ進み、セミファイナルでは再び“Team ICHINOMIYA”との対戦となりましたが、大橋海人と須田喬史郎の活躍によってファイナル進出を果たしました。
決勝ではヒート開始早々に石田海夏のグッドライディングから始まりチームの勢いをもたらし、その流れに乗って村上舜も次々とグッドライディングを重ね、圧倒的なパフォーマンスで優勝を勝ち取る事が出来ました。
チームをサポートしていただきましたマニューバーライン様、会場へ応援に来てくださりましたオーシャンゾーンチームの皆様、本当にありがとうございました。
これからもチームライダーともに「サーフィンが楽しくなるサーフボード」を皆様へお届けし続けます。
