PART 2

This one had a new barge fuse and RCBOs, but the rusted, broken meter box, asbestos panel and undersized consumer mains still needed sorting.

New point of attachment and barge fuse bracket with a future three-phase upgrade in mind, new 16mm² XLPE consumer mains protected in HD conduit the whole way, and a brand new meter box recessed into the wall.

Finished off with a new 6mm² main earth, earth stake, all new service equipment and Hager RCBOs for the sub-circuits.

Good to get the whole lot sorted properly 👌

Back out at Mulbring to get this one off the TBS and onto permanent power ⚡️

Around 250m of underground from our private pole and pillar, with the cables upsized to 185mm² aluminium. We had it feeding a temporary builder’s supply while the build was underway.

This visit we’re pulling the temporary board out, landing the underground consumers into the permanent board and moving the meter across. All coming together 👌

PART 1:

We completed a three-phase upgrade at this property, but this video focuses on one part of the job, replacing the overhead service. ⚡️

The property was supplied with two phases through an existing 3 phase overhead bundle. As Level 2 ASPs working on Ausgrid’s network, we’re not permitted to extend the service mains using an HSC, so we replaced the existing bundle with a new one.

PART 2

This customer of ours in Mangrove Mountain had received a defect notice regarding their private pole (A) due to its rotten state.

We installed a new steel private pole & also replaced the old bare line service mains to new bundle overhead service mains & consumer mains.

Defect = Cleared
