For this project, all steel components for the base were prepped in our workshop and installed onsite. From there, the remainder of the build is being completed onsite, locally in the Central Coast area.

Katana screw piles were used for the foundations, installed by Brent who is also the North West Katana Screw Pile installer.

From workshop preparation to onsite construction, we’re proud to deliver high-quality buildings built strong from the ground up.

Our latest workshop build is well underway!

This project is a 12 × 9 m portable building, being constructed in two halves and joined seamlessly on site.
The first half is progressing well, with the second half base currently under construction.

WE ARE HIRING

Ridge Portable Solutions is a small, family-owned and operated portable building business, and we’re looking to grow our team in 2026.

We are seeking a full-time team member who may have a trade background of any description and is willing to learn new skills, or a talented Trades Assistant who would benefit from working with our team.

Day-to-day duties may include:

Welding

Sheet metal work

Working with steel frames

Internal building fit-off

General workshop and manufacturing tasks

An eye for detail is essential, as we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality portable buildings for our clients.

Our workshop is based in Ulverstone, with occasional onsite work across the North-West Coast.

Back in January, Brent and Darcy worked tirelessly to complete a new classroom for Launceston Christian School, ready just in time for the new school year.

This building was constructed in four quarters in our workshop before being transported to Launceston for final installation.

As you can see, once completed, you’d never know it was a relocatable building. Our team takes pride in delivering work of the highest quality, built with precision and care

✨ Eviction Day! ✨
Monday was the perfect day for the Hair Salon we shared a few weeks ago to move out of the workshop! 🚛
This beautiful building is now all set up on site and ready for the owners to start their fit-out.

It’s sitting securely on Katana screw piles, installed by Brent - our NW certified Katana installer. 🙌
Screw piles are an awesome option to a foundation, especially if your land isn’t perfectly level.

Another exciting project out the door and soon to be ready for our community to enjoy 💇‍♀️💇
