After waking up to the coldest morning of the year and with another chilly morning forecast, your water meter might be starting to feel the cold!

You can prevent it from freezing by covering your meter with a bucket, plastic tub, cardboard box, hessian bag or a blanket. If your meter does freeze up, you can pour cold or lukewarm water over the meter to defrost it – just don’t use hot or boiling water as this can lead to cracks, leaks and damage to the pipes.

Drainage repair

One of our recent jobs where our client was having issues with their drains blocking. We were able to clear the blockage, and by using our CCTV camera we were able to accurately find and locate the cause of the blockage, which was the result of a previous bad drain repair. We were able to properly rectify this issue with minimal disruption and without un necessary damage to the surrounding area.
