Hi Everyone! Hope you & yours are keeping well. The Clean Energy Council / CEC, solar industry peak body in Australia, organises the CEC Open Day which will allow the public to check out renewable energy sites or projects and learn more about anything renewables.

As the next one will be held on Sunday, 31 October and for us based in Brisbane the renewable site that will open its doors is the UQ Solar Farm in Warwick/Sladevale (less than 2hrs fr Brissie), it would also be a good opportunity for a fun day trip with family & friends.

Please check out the details & register via CEC website below. Have a great week!

Clean Energy Open Day is a chance for the Australian public to get up close and personal with renewable energy. If you've ever wondered how a solar panel makes electricity, wanted to see the inside of a wind turbine or learn about the history of hydropower, then Clean Energy Open Day is the perfect....

Hi everyone! Hope you & yours have been having a good weekend so far.

We're grateful to be part of Brisbane City Council's Green Heart Fair this year although it's coming in a slightly different format... virtual fair 😀

To celebrate the occasion and as a little contribution toward reviving our local economy, we'd love to share $200 token of appreciation for every successful solar installation - which you can choose to keep as cash back to help kick off your savings journey or donate to any ACNC-registered organisation you support (otherwise, the amount will be channeled as donation to Prison Fellow Australia Queensland - a volunteer-based organisation who runs a number of life-changing initiatives both in and outside the prisons for the prisoners and their families).

And better still, the Green Heart Fair comes with many more offers and sustainable living tips and tricks! Please check out their page https://facebook.com/greenheartfair or webpage https://greenheartfair.com.au/virtual-fair (we are in the Green Home Zone).

Part of an interconnected world... no industry is immune from potential adverse impacts of the current coronavirus crisis.

ROTH Capital Partners has told investors that the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus in China is likely to impact the solar industry supply chain, due to extended work stoppage in eight provinces, many being key solar manufacturing hubs, through February 9th.

Our story so far

...in Jesus Christ our God and Saviour and in sharing the love, grace and mercy He has afforded us firstly within the local communities we are part of here in South East Queensland, Australia and with every person we will cross path with in the future i.e. customers, business partners, investors, suppliers, regulators, and other valued stakeholders & community members.

Our journey started in March 2018 when we made decision to leave the comfort of 9-to-5 corporate world and founded Climate Hope. We always knew that running a small business who helps families & other businesses reduce our carbon footprint was our next chapter and that our success needs to balance meaningful impacts in 3 key areas (environment, economic and social) but the question was how would we go about doing that? Where should we start?

Energy consultant, solar buying agent, independent adviser, or (preferably, and hopefully) also a good neighbour

We explored various options from selling smart devices to track electricity consumption, importing electric bike/scooter to name a couple, but in the end our family journey of moving into a new house (we had only moved from Sydney to Brisbane a few months prior) and our effort to reduce day-to-day cost of running the house was what gave us the idea and confidence to do what we enjoy doing today: raising awareness of rooftop solar benefits and helping families and local businesses alike throughout their journey from discovery to enjoying the cost saving benefits through 3 easy steps:
