Part Three: The Community Garden had to go. Metro needed the space for their new maintenance depot and car park, but they did offer this square of gravel, so FoodCubes were needed. I had just sold my school library supply business so Mount Coburg was born - wholesale supplies of FoodCubes to community and schools - www.mountcoburg.com.au

Part One: How did it all get started? Well the Upfield Urban Forest mob were turning the railway verge into gardens and bird and insect habitat, and my bit of Charles Street was a rubbish dump waste land. So we took it on…. Bit of old pallets, a lot of clearing and planting, and Mount Coburg Community Garden arrived.
