It's starting to look alot like Christmas at L & A HQ (yes, that is a cat in our Christmas tree).

Our staff our busy finalising all our jobs before they take a well earned break on Friday 17 December 2021.

As per the Government's announcement this morning, L & A Electrical Services will not be returning back to work on Monday 11 January 2021 as previously planned. We will be entering the 3-day lockdown from 6:00pm this evening, Friday 8th January, to 6:00pm Monday 11th January.

At this stage, with the exception of any further Government advice, we will return back on Tuesday 12 January 2021.

And that's a wrap for yet another year here at L & A Electrical Services. As I'm sure we can all attest to, a year that we are grateful to see the back of. But, we will be back again in 2021 (Monday 11 January 2021) for hopefully a peaceful, less stressed year. We wish you and your family a safe and happy Christmas and thank you all again for supporting our family business in 2020.

ARE YOU AWARE......of your obligations?

"Since January 2017, Queenslanders having a home built or substantially renovated have been required to have interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms installed.

From 1 January 2022, all homes being sold, leased or having their lease renewed must have hardwired photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms installed in every bedroom, connecting hallways and on each storey.

From 1 January 2027, this requirement will apply to all homes."

That's why there's new legislation to install photoelectric smoke alarms, which have been proven to be more effective in the domestic home.

Despite many opinions that he wouldn't see another year; the "Boss Man" has reached yet another birthday.
And what a year it has been - falling up and down stairs, hitting his a head on things he had no business hitting and 4 hospital stays (as of today's date, the year is not over). And, not to mention turning into Will Smith (or so he believes) with his robot arm (see pic below).
It's been a crazy year for the birthday boy, but he takes it all in his stride.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our amazing Boss, great dad and wonderful husband (even if he didn't want her driving his "new ride")

We couldn't have said it better ourselves....... We'd like to thank our staff, suppliers, contractors, builders and most importantly our customers for your support over the last 12 months.
