Happy Friday Everyone.
I just wanted to share an update on our extended garage.
All has gone extremely well. 😀
◾️ New brick columns have been installed, lined with steel re-enforcement & filled with concrete.
◾️ The Steel structure is installed and new trusses for the roof have been cut and made ready for installation.

Did you know, the name "Herringbone", takes its name from the bone structure of the herring fish skeleton, 🐠 and dates back to the Ancient Roman Empire. 🏛

When building roads, the Romans discovered that by laying out bricks in a V-shaped pattern, on a bed of gravel, they could construct a more stable road.

The herringbone-patterned wood flooring has become extremely popular, and for good reason. These geometric patterns create visual interest within a space and offer a luxurious European feel.💙

In this progress update, you can see that we have installed engineered Oak hardwood in our Darling Point apartment & it looks amazing. You can't quite see in this video, but the Herringbone pattern points towards the unobstructed views of the city. We'll show you that when the job is complete.

I’m so proud of my team and what we have achieved with this complete 3 bedroom apartment renovation in Darling Point.

It was one of the first jobs that we had done during Covid earlier this year.

With the owner situated overseas, all communication was done using FaceTime. We used it a lot in the early stages and we quickly built a great relationship & trust with the owner.

My favourite room in the house has to be the kitchen. The Caesarstone bench top & high-end kitchen finishes complement this amazing view. Everything now just flows effortlessly throughout this apartment.

If you look at the ceiling, you can see that we dropped it slightly so we could run additional services to the bathrooms, install air conditioning & controllable downlights that enhance the modern appearance.

All up, it took us 10 weeks to complete this entire apartment renovation & the owner is extremely pleased with the end result.

So are we!

Our outdoor living experts helped create the perfect relaxing space for this Paddington Terrace. What was once nothing but a corrugated roof over a garage, has been transformed into a flexible outdoor space. The dark coloured deck provides an attractive contrast with the open sky & the brightly coloured garden greenery. It also some great storage space built into it. 😍
