Congrats Joel apprentice to TRADIE 🔨✊

First we had; Adrian, Aaron, Cody, Conner, Dan B, Dan S, Dalton, David, Eli, Fallah, Fraser, Haydn, Harrison, James, Jacob, Jake, Jack, John, Jean (John), Leroy, Liam, Luke, Max, Max #2, Mitch, Marshall, Ryan, Sean, Sammy, Warren & Zach

After 32 previous apprentices to tradies (which I’m seemingly missing one), Joel is our lucky last in Brisbane. He had the privilege of spending much of his apprenticeship with Warren and will continue on as a fully fledged carpenter with him.

Well done Joel 👏 👏 👏

Congrats Sammy #32 GBG apprentice to TRADIE 🔨✊

So good to see Sam complete his apprentership and is now a fully fledged carpenter. Like so many before him Sammy was much liked by all he worked with. He found his home with BESA under the watch of Jake (on right) and will continue in the industry with them … only now with a wage which matches his skill set and character.

All the best Sammy!

Congrats Mitch #31 GBG apprentice to TRADIE 🔨✊

Mitch will complete his time with Genbuild in 7 days time. I am 100% confident Mitch will be a success no mater which path he chooses. Not simply because of his skills as a carpenter but because of his mindset to shape and grow his character. He was a wanted man as an apprentice with any tradesman he work with over his time with us. During the last year of his apprenticeship he came under the guidance of his dad. A really nice way to finish up.

Go well Mitch and well done.

Congrats Max #30 GBG apprentice to TRADIE 🔨✊

Max started out his time on Fort Construction builds under carpenter Cody and supervisor Pat who many Genbuild fellas know well. He ended his time with Mark (standing with Max) from Page Building Contractors. Well done Max and all the best for the future. It looks bright for you in any direction you pursue.

Congrats Sean #29 GBG apprentice to TRADIE 🔨✊

Some apprentices start out their carpentry training and nothing makes sense. It takes a while before things start to click. Sean, however was in the category where from day one the trade came naturally to him. Well done Sean on your completion!

What is special about this photo is Sean spent the past 12 + months honing his skills with Dan (pictured) who completed his carpentry apprentership with Genbuild and prior to that with Cody who was one of the originals.

Since moving to Tasmania 18 months ago I having been wrestling through if I continue, or wind up GenBuild’s work in Brisbane. Last week, while working on a small architectural home overlooking Mount Wellington (yes, it’s very nice) I made the decision to wind up and start a new chapter in Tasmania.

So, it is an end to an era for myself and Genbuild in Brisbane.

What a privilege it has been seeing through the apprenticeships of the following men below. I wanted you to become good chippies, but better blokes. Hopefully we have succeeded on both fronts.

Actually we did.

Adrian, Aaron, Cody, Conner, Dan B, Dan S, Dalton, David, Eli, Fallah, Fraser, Haydn, Harrison, James, Jacob, Jake, Jack, John, Jean (John), Leroy, Liam, Luke, Max, Marshall, Ryan, Warren & Zach

** did I miss anyone?**

With
Sean, Mitch, Max ( #2), Sammy, Dan & Joel to complete within 12 months.

Well done, and WHAT A CREW! 💪🔨🙏

You are always welcome in Tassie.
