GT Shearing - SOLD
This decision comes with mixed emotions but we are excited for Wi and Cindy - WC Shearing and their new venture in expanding and wishing them all the best!
GT Shearing est 2012 was built from the ground up. We have purchased multiple runs over the years in an effort to expand our business and the work for our teams.
We were able to build something that gave us the opportunity to give back to our local community through sponsorships and donations and also able to support our shearing community in times of need.
A huge thanks goes to our staff, we have had hundreds of employees through our books, and
Our goal was always to doing everything by the book and be the contractors we would want to work for, we can hand on heart say that we gave it our every effort even during the trials and tribulations that is being a Shearing Contractor.
Thanks also to our Farmers past and present, thankyou for your understanding during difficult situations, for being proactive in leveling up the standards and safety for our staff and sharing our vision. We appreciate your continued business and loyalty.
We have had some pretty amazing people come in to our lives and some leave again but this is what the universe had planned, every situation has taught us a lesson and for that we are grateful.
We have survived covid, staff shortages, the highs the lows the meltdowns the comedowns lol sleepless nights, early mornings, celebrations, milestones, achievements and everything inbetween. Wouldnt change any of it, has taught us so much about the world and ourselves. We are really excited for what our future has instore and are looking forward to saying goodbye to the stress and responsibilities and just doing us.
We have given our business and Industry everything we have physically and mentally. We are very proud of our brand and what it stands for and what it represented. Going to miss walking into a shed thats sounds are pumping and everyone is working as a team like a well oilled machine. That feeling of working the board along side your crew. IYKYK.
We have put in the work and made good decisions and now its time to reap what we have sown and worked so very hard for.
We have re loacted to the peel region and are both out chasing new dreams now, fresh start, new beginning going to take a bit to get used to after over a decade of stresses and staying sharp but i think we be ok 😜
Special mention to our accountant Dom, who has been there from the start, who has mentored and coached us through every business and financial decision. We owe alot to him for his guidence. Unfortunately Dom didnt get to see our end game play out after losing his battle with cancer a few months ago.
