Sometimes a garden doesn't need an expensive makeover to make a BIG difference! 🏡

This front lawn had become seriously overgrown. While the grass was dry and definitely wasn't looking its best, the biggest issue was that everything had grown to different heights, making the whole front yard look messy and untidy. 🌾

Rather than trying to mow through it, the best solution was to whipper snip everything back down to one consistent level. ✂️

The weather is warming up, the days are getting longer and our gardens are starting to wake up! ☀️

Spring is one of the busiest times of the year for your garden, so now is the perfect time to give everything a good tidy-up and get your garden ready for the warmer months ahead. 🌿

This front garden bed was completely overgrown with w**ds, grass and plants, making the area look untidy and taking away from the property's street appeal. 🌱😳

We gave it a much-needed renewal! 💪🌿

🧹 Removed the overgrown w**ds and unwanted grass
🌱 Cleared out overgrown plants

💦 SPRING RETIC SWITCH-ON IS HERE! 💦

Today marks the official Spring sprinkler switch-on!🌸

Throughout the winter months of June, July & August, your reticulation system should have been switched OFF.

This is part of an initiative by the Water Corporation to help conserve our precious water 💧 and make the most of our winter rainfall.

Now that winter is coming to an end and spring is upon us, it’s time to get those sprinklers back on! 🌼

💦 Need a hand switching your retic back on?
Just let us know and we can make a note on your account to take care of it during your next landscaping session. 👍

🌱 Spring is also the perfect time to check your reticulation system for faults!

After sitting unused over winter, it’s a good idea to run through each station and check for:
🔧 Broken or damaged sprinklers
💧 Leaking pipes or fittings
🌿 Blocked sprinkler heads
⚙️ Faulty solenoids
💦 Poor water coverage

A small retic fault can quickly turn into a bigger problem — or result in water being wasted!

What a difference a thorough clean-up can make! 👏

This garden bed was completely overrun with grass and unwanted growth, so we got stuck in and meticulously hand-w**ded the entire area to bring it back under control. 💪

🌾But did you know grass can be much harder to remove than regular w**ds?

Grass often has thicker, stronger and deeper root systems, meaning simply pulling it out can take considerably more time and effort. 🫣

That’s why jobs like this can be very time-consuming, especially when the grass has had plenty of time to establish itself.

🌱 OUR RECOMMENDATION
After removing established grass and w**ds, we recommend following up with an appropriate w**d spray treatment. This can help target remaining w**ds and root systems and reduce the likelihood of regrowth. 🌿🚫
