Upon completing repairs on the central heating system, I noticed water pooling and running down the customer’s driveway. Further investigation revealed a subsurface water leak approximately 4 meters away. After excavating the area, I discovered a tree root had ruptured the copper pipe. I cut out the damaged section, installed a new length of copper pipe, tested it for leaks, and backfilled the excavation.
