What you don’t see after the concrete is poured is often the most important part.
Not all slabs are created equal.
The type of reinforcing steel, the bar size, mesh grade, spacing and even making sure it’s supported on bar chairs at the correct height all play a vital role in the finished strength and durability of your slab.
The steel used should always suit the purpose of the slab.
A garden shed doesn’t have the same requirements as a machinery shed or commercial building.

At Wauchope Concreting, we follow engineered plans and Australian Standards because getting it right before the concrete is poured means a stronger slab for years to come.
