After watching 60 minutes regarding comparing ionisation and photoelectric smoke detectors. CWG Electrics wishes to advise that we only install photoelectric smoke detectors. These range from 240volt with 9volt battery back up or 240volt with non removable lithium rechargeable battery back up or 10year lithium non removable battery.

Make sure when you have or had your insulation batts installed it's not like this. The glow is a 50watt low voltage halogen downlight. A fire waiting to happen. This was in a townhouse and unit complex ceiling space. Change your halogens to LED lights with the F tick accreditation for safety. Another reason to change to LED is saving money on your electricity bill.
