👷🏼‍♂️🔨 APPRENTICE CARPENTER WANTED 🔨👷🏼‍♂️


KLN Carpentry Services Pty Ltd are looking for a 1st or 2nd year apprentice carpenter.

We are a small team based in Yass NSW, contracting residential carpentry services within the ACT and surrounding. We are growing and are needing an extra set of hands to help with the workload.

Role of work:
- Frames and trusses
- Eaves and cladding
- Decking and pergolas

Skills and Qualification:
- Current drivers licence and own reliable transport to get to job sites
- General Construction Induction, asbestos awareness and crystalline silica cards
- General mathematics

Required from you:
- High attention to detail, design and interpreting plans
- Ability to work in a team environment or unsupervised
- Ability to work under pressure and follow directions
- Physically fit
- Driven to learn and can-do attitude

KLN Carpentry is looking for someone who is willing to learn and expand their skills, has a positive attitude and is genuinely interested in the industry. If you believe you fit the criteria, please send your application through to [email protected]

School leavers highly sought after and transport can be arranged from Yass to work sites for 16/17 year olds who are yet to obtain a license.

3 month trial period applies. Rate of pay will be determined by your experience and qualifications.

With just over a week to go here is some important and hopefully helpful information.

- We will be holding registrations on Friday night at the Grenfell Bowling Club from 6pm on Friday 28th Feb. The bistro will be open, however there is a quiz night on as well, so if you want to have dinner and a few drinks, the earlier the better. You can even join in the quiz night and the courtesy bus will be available.

- there are still seats availabile on the bus.

- Registration on Saturday morning from 7am. Breakfast, coffee, tea and drinks will be available. Departure is 9:30am sharp. First card draw will be on registration this year. This is to replace the card draw at the lunch stop, so everyone can have their lunch on arrival without stress of the card draw.

- We have live music at the Club on Saturday night with the incredible "Elk Mountain Band " who were an absolute hit last year.

- Our major sponsor Unwind will be open for breakfast on Sunday from 6:30am for those who like to have an early start

- We still have accommodation available, reach out if you are looking for any.

Please note that while we have increased the Registration cost from our usual $25.00 to $30.00 (first increase in 10 years), the prizemoney for our 10-year anniversary run has also increased to a whopping $700.00.
