It’s Story time🤗
Surreal… ever thought about what it means??🤔 well its meaning lies in its name. Sur-Real as in Sur-name ( additional name) . Sur real means more than real or something added to reality. My mind was blown when I got to know about it. 🤯

sur- in American English
prefix. a prefix meaning “over, above,” “in addition,”

Surrealism officially began with Dadaist writer André Breton’s 1924 Surrealist manifesto, but the movement formed as early as 1917, inspired by the paintings of Giorgio de Chirico, who captured street locations with a hallucinatory quality.

👩‍🎨👨‍🎨Among Painters of surrealism SALVADOR DALÍ is my forever favorite others include RENE MAGRITTE , Meret Oppenheim, FRIDA KAHLO and many more.

❔Why thus named :
In a beautifully grey rainy day , cozily sitting on my beanbag,😌 I was scrolling through Facebook when I came across a post which had a link to rare flowers. I hesitated yet clicked🤦‍♀️. Alas the colors, the shapes; nothing like I have seen before🤯. Had a midterm day after🥲; yet couldn't stop myself from gatherering all my supplies and begin putting all those colors, textures, smell and sounds on paper.👩‍🎨🎨
Name of rarities starting from leftmost:
· Turquoise jade vine -> Philippine tropical rainforest🇵🇭
· Blue Himalayan poppy -> Cold Himalayans🏔
· Black Bat Flower -> Depths of Tropical rainforest🌴🏝
· Poisonous Pink Angel's trumpet-> Southwestern USA and Mexico 🇺🇸🇲🇽

Learnt more methods of making textures visible in paper.
