Grimpday x Xmonster: (Final) Day 4

It’s the final day of the Grimpday 20th anniversary competition. What an amazing event this has been.

The Rhino Max II, Rhino 80 and a Cobra 60 anchor slings have won over the hearts of the participants.

Seeing yet even more creative new ways how our products are being used gives us more motivation to innovate further.

We couldn’t have been happier with how this event turned out.

Our Mustang 10.5 & 11 is designed with high-quality, high-tenacity 100% polyamide fibers. It features a perfect balance of high-strength while still having enough elongation for impact absorption. It’s EN1891A certified but far exceeds the standard. The Mustang’s soft design makes it excellent for smooth operation, having a slip that is close to zero, making it an excellent performer in descend operations. Our Mustang is perfect for caving, rescue, abseiling and rope access, in accordance with EN1891A. Mustang is a static rope, that is very flexible and lightweight. It’s perfect for technical work, safety work positioning or in a rescue environment.

This is our Shield Pro Lifeline: if your life is on the line you want something tried and tested. Our Shield Pro Lifeline is essentially our popular Shield Pro with a sewn eye and a metal thimble. It’s NFPA 2500 and ANSI/ASSP Z359.15 certified. It comes with a 100% aramid cover, a Premium Polyamide 66 core and a nylon red warning layer in between. This combination makes the Shield Pro not only highly abrasion-resistant, but also gives it an impressive 49.3kN MBS.

Introducing Shield Pro: The ultimate rope for Power Ascenders!

Our Shield Pro is designed for high/friction applications, such as using it in a Power Ascender. Due to its 100% aramid cover it’s highly abrasion-resistant and will prevent fuzzing. Its high MBS of 49.3kN will ensure absolute reliability during use. It also features an additional red layer between the aramid cover and the polyamide core to warn the user if the aramid cover is wearing off, guaranteeing absolute safety at all times.

It’s also NFPA 2500 rated.

Grimp Japan 2026 x Xmonster - Enjoy Dome

Now, this was interesting! Who says you can’t combine kid-like fun and rope rescue?! Well, how about putting the challenge in an indoor theme park?

In this challenge, the competitors had to maneuver across all kinds of obstacles to get from one side to the other, without touching the ground. To add to the challenge, the victim was placed in a tiny boat. But all competitors showed grit and ingenuity, relying on the versatility and reliability of our anchor slings to do the job! They showed with the right tools anything is possible.

You go we go!

AWRF 2026 x Xmonster
50th anniversary

This year’s AWRF was special, not only because it was the 50 year anniversary (although this might have played big part!) but also because we got to combine efforts with Ropers, the leading manufacturer of synthetic rope, to present our new lifting gear.
