In this project, our Grid Straight grass pavers connect architecture and nature into one clean, cohesive whole.

For the infill between the pavers, thyme was chosen. A subtle, slow-growing plant that not only requires little maintenance, but also adds an extra dimension with its soft fragrance.

This transforms a functional space into a place of experience.
A place where nature reclaims its space.

In Lauwe, a traditional SME environment was transformed into an inspiring outdoor space where architecture, greenery, and paving reinforce one another. Together with Tuinen Vantomme and Greenconcepts, Deer Concrete created a forward-looking company garden in which functionality and aesthetics go hand in hand.

With the Organic Lily grass pavers as the connecting element, a playful composition of organic lines emerges—one that not only brings visual calm but also guides circulation in a natural way. The open structure of the pavers offers ample room for grass and planting to grow, even under intensive use. In this way, the project actively contributes to water permeability and biodiversity.

From permeable green areas to solid pathways, each element is designed to balance functionality, durability and a natural look.

The Organic Crosshatch creates green, water permeable surfaces that remain strong enough for cars or heavier traffic — the perfect blend of 'green where possible, reinforcement where needed'. The geometric hexagon pattern allows grass to grow through, giving outdoor spaces a soft and natural appearance without compromising stability.

In combination with the Crosshatch full tiles, the system offers clean, modern lines for paths and access routes around buildings. These full tiles provide a solid, low maintenance surface, while visually matching the Organic Crosshatch thanks to the shared hexagonal geometry.

Together, they form a cohesive design language that strengthens any outdoor space — practical, aesthetic and seamlessly integrated into the landscape.

Greenery and hardscape, seamlessly connected 🌿

Our Organic Straight grass pavers are the unifying element in this project: from a strong visual element in the lawn to a structure that effortlessly links the garden with the elegant terrace shelter.

Thanks to their natural appearance, they create calm, rhythm, and a soft transition between green and hardscape in every part of the design.

In collaboration with GoForest, we plant one tree for every 100 m² of installed Deer solutions — a concrete commitment to reforestation, biodiversity and CO₂ reduction.

🌱 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Our permeable grass pavers support healthy water management. With an average permeability of 15%, they help restore the natural water balance and contribute to climate resilient outdoor spaces.

Deer products are made from 100% recycled prefab concrete and offer a lifespan of 45–50 years.
We continue to accelerate material innovation: 50% of our mix already consists of carbon neutral components. Our next steps include further reducing cement content and evolving toward cement free grass pavers using advanced material technologies.
Together, we’re taking clear steps toward a circular, low carbon future.
