Construction Industry Trust Fund - citf The following trades are offered at CITF: Bricklaying, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling, Finishing

The objective of the project is to train semi-skilled and skilled artisans in the vocations of Building and Construction and other trades needed to diversify the economy. The chosen approach and method used in training is Competency Based Modular Training Programme which is a crash training programme designed to alleviate shortage of skilled manpower in the in the building and construction sector.

The project support the broader ministry strategy by rapidly producing the skills required to meet the large demands arising from proposed and on-going projects in Gaborone and the country at large.

The Kazugula Satellite Centre recently hosted a Wellness Day with the theme "My Health, My Wealth". The guest speaker was Mr. Chris Moseki, the Chobe District Coordinator for people living with disabilities from the District Commissioners' Office. He highlighted the importance of healthy eating and regular exercise. The event featured a 5km walk, aerobics, and various health-focused games involving staff members, trainees, and stakeholders. CITF extends its gratitude to Spar, Absa, FNB, Aquarite, Councillors, and CITF Staff for their generous support.
