One of our favourite moments from this spring. ❤️
When a peregrine falcon nest was discovered high above BMO Field during preparations for FIFA World Cup 2026, Hawkeye was brought in to help protect the nest, monitor the chicks, and ensure both the birds and stadium operations could safely coexist.
Captured here is mama peregrine catching some well-deserved rest (yes, peregrines really do sleep with one leg tucked up!) while keeping a watchful eye over her growing family.
Working alongside FIFA, Exhibition Place, and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, our team helped safeguard the nest until all four chicks successfully fledged.
Today, the young falcons have spread their wings and left the stadium, beginning their next chapter in the wild.
From the rafters of BMO Field to the skies above Toronto, it was an honour to play a small part in their story. 🦅❤️
