What appears to be simple in design often conceals some of the most complex techniques and subtleties of structure and geometry. In my opinion, the Japanese are masters of hiding complexity within simplicity. That's a philosophy I do my best to emulate in many of my knives.
A custom Santoku style blade made from 80CRV2 steel. The Wa style handle is made from Desert ironwood, spalted maple and 7000yr old Bog oak.
