What appears to be simple in design often conceals some of the most complex techniques and subtleties of structure and geometry. In my opinion, the Japanese are masters of hiding complexity within simplicity. That's a philosophy I do my best to emulate in many of my knives.

A custom Santoku style blade made from 80CRV2 steel. The Wa style handle is made from Desert ironwood, spalted maple and 7000yr old Bog oak.

For the sixth year running, we proudly hosted our Wiltshire Highland Games annual charity fundraiser, with every dollar raised going to a worthy cause.

Hello, followers! I’ve taken a short break from knife making over the past couple of weeks while tackling the many spring projects around the house. Spring has sprung!
