đˇââď¸Women in Concrete Feature
Katasha Clarke
Plant Operations Coordinator
Twin River Concrete (2019) Ltd.
With 6.5 years in the concrete industry, Katasha is an essential part of the work that happens long before the pour. From coordinating schedules to dispatching loads, she helps ensure projects move smoothly, work that ultimately becomes the foundation of homes, businesses, and communities.
One of her favourite parts of the industry? Seeing a project through to completion and knowing she played a role in making it happen. Thereâs a real sense of pride in being part of something that lasts.â¨
What surprised her most about working in concrete is just how relationship-driven the industry is. Itâs not only about the product itâs about trust, reliability, reputation, and the partnerships built along the way. Delivering quality concrete goes hand in hand with building strong working relationships.
Her message to women considering a career in the industry: âConcrete isnât just poured on site. Itâs planned, scheduled, estimated, coordinated, and led. There are opportunities at every level of this industry and there is space for women in all of them.â
Weâre proud to celebrate women like Katasha who help keep Saskatchewanâs concrete industry strong.đ
