After decades of having my hands in a variety of trades, I have finally found something I can surprise myself with everyday. I am 7 Months in as a wood carver. I sit with a tree stump and use a grinder with a carbide tooth disc to create whatever i feel is coming out of the tree. More recently I began to challenge myself to do 3D pieces, being an owl and Wolf pack and Fish. I currently have many b

eing worked on at once. My Neighbour came by and borrowed me a Stihl carving bar saw and another for blocking, so I am going to town practicing using these new tools. I charge very modestly as of now because I am learning, and I am using green wood for now what ever is given to me by Crimson Sky tree service, nice guy who have given me a lot of wood to work with. I do consignments, and would love to carve a tree trunk which you leave behind after cutting down a tree. I also collect and sell driftwood, perfect for terrariums, gardens and landscaping accents.
