Brian started working in construction at the age of 12 for his father’s company, Brockville Construction. Moving to Belleville, Brian enrolled into the Loyalist College program Civil Engineering Technician, returning on weekends to work for Brockville Construction. After receiving his diploma Brian worked for numerous trades including electrical and plumbing and then returned as Site Foreman for Brockville Construction. In 2013, with 22 years experience under his belt, Brian incorporated his business and changed the company name to Sylvan Construction. Brian believes that a successful project begins with clear and extensive communication with client and sub-trades. 👻 Some things are scarier than a haunted house… like a house that wasn’t built right. 🏚️🎃

Cracked foundations. Faulty wiring. Hidden leaks. Poor insulation. And the scariest of them all? A contractor who disappears halfway through the job. 😱

At Sylvan Construction, we believe the only surprises in your home should be the Halloween decorations.

🏡 Quality craftsmanship, proper planning, clear communication, and doing the job right the FIRST time. No tricks, just work you can trust.

At Sylvan Construction, we don’t just build projects. We build relationships that last. 🏡🔨

Some of our clients have trusted us with multiple projects over the years, and there’s no greater compliment than being invited back to work on their homes again and again.

To us, you’re never just another job on the schedule. We take the time to get to know our clients, understand their vision, and treat their homes with the same care and respect we would our own.

When you work with Sylvan Construction, you become part of the family.

We’re incredibly grateful for the trust, loyalty, and lasting relationships we’ve built along the way. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about the work we leave behind. It’s about the people we get to work with. ❤️

Everyone wants to talk about countertops. We start with what’s underneath them.

Foundation. Structure. Insulation. Windows.

Get those four right and your home will last for generations. 🏡

Building homes?

Easy.

Remembering one line for the camera? Apparently impossible 😅

We took it all the way down to the studs. 🔨

No walls. No ceiling. No floors. No problem.

This full gut renovation is well underway. The space is opened up, the new framing is in, and the walls are insulated and sealed. Every step is done right, because what’s behind the walls matters most.

Follow along. The transformation is just getting started. 👀
