You may start to hear we are full for the year and be tempted to look elsewhere for your landscaping needs. Here are a just few reasons why you still want to book with us.

One, we have a very experienced team and continue to add to it. Why does that matter? Because experienced people can get more done in less time than less experienced people can. And we've never been deeper in experience than we are right now.

Two, stuff happens. Projects get delayed, or don't move ahead at all. We don't know what will happen tomorrow, or the days after that, but we do know something will happen that we didn't anticipate. And that "something" will open up a window for a project, or two, or three, to get done.

Three, smaller projects get fit in regularly. If your project is less than $50,000, the odds are good we can fit it in, even in "full years". Why? Because when we finish a larger job earlier than expected, that opens up shorter windows of time when we can fit in the smaller projects.

Four, committed projects always have priority over potential projects. Every year we have clients who approach us and want us to do their project. Now. And we can't. It doesn't matter how big that project is or how long we've known you or how much of a repeat customer you are. Committed projects are, all things being equal, first in line.

Five, our quotations are price guaranteed. It doesn't matter how much time passes between the day you send in your deposit, and the day the project is completed. The price we quoted you is the price you will pay. That means even if your project gets pushed until 2027, we will honour your quotation. You do not need to worry about the cost of fuel, tariffs, or other inflationary challenges.

We are filling up. That is the truth. It is also the truth that every time we think we have a solid plan, life comes up with a way to remind us we can only control so much.

Big welcome to the Cobble team 👏

We are excited to introduce Alyssa, who's joining Cobble Design as a Junior Designer, but like everything we do, the role goes beyond just one lane.

Alyssa brings a great mix of design knowledge, plant expertise, people leadership, and real hands-on installation experience, having worked in everything from garden builds to crew leadership to snow operations.

She will support our design work, get out on some installs and help with our new Cobble Cares program.

We're big believers in people who understand how things actually get built, can build them well, and can connect with people in a warm and genuine way. Alyssa fits all of that perfectly!

We look forward to what we will build together!

Big news from Cobble Design Inc and Cobble Cares! We are excited to officially welcome Ron Cormier as our new Head of Care, Cobble Cares.

Ron brings nearly 30 years of hands-on experience in horticulture, landscaping, garden maintenance, turf care, tree care, property care and team leadership. He has worked with some incredible organizations over the years and has built a reputation for doing things the right way, with professionalism, pride, and an attention to detail.

Cobble Cares is a new initiative to help homeowners protect, maintain, and care for their outdoor living spaces with confidence. Ron's deep industry knowledge and hands-on leadership make him an incredible fit for that mission.

In addition to leading Cobble Cares, Ron will have an influence across all of Cobble Design Inc. He will help shape our approach to horticulture, guiding best practices for our team and clients, and deepening our commitment to creating harmony between how people live and how nature thrives around them.

On top of all that, Ron and his wife are new to the neighbourhood. They move into Bayfield next week!

As we continue to grow, adding someone with Rob's experience and leadership is a huge step forward for our team and for the clients we serve. His first day on the team is June 8th. You will see him on the ground soon after that.

Why take stairs when you could take a leisurely ride?

Stairs are work. A lot of work. We've had clients who needed to navigate over 200 steps. Imagine doing that every time you wanted to enjoy your dock?

Stairs can be dangerous. They get slippery when they are wet. They aren't easy to navigate when you are carrying your drinks, snacks, and beach toys, while also trying to keep track of your children or grandchildren.

And they aren't an option for people with mobility issues. We've seen families contemplate losing time together, at a cherished place, as parents age or as a younger family member becomes stricken with a condition that challenges their mobility.

A hillside tram, also known as a funicular, is a safe, easy option that creates more family memories. Rather than a tiring trek up and down stairs you can travel in the safety and comfort of your carriage, travelling approximately 50 feet in one minute. Our trams have two folding seats and can accommodate a wheelchair.

You spend less time and energy building your calves, and get more time and energy to enjoy your property and family.

We install and service these all along Lake Huron from Port Franks to Tobermory. We also install and service in the Muskokas, Kawarthas, and Trent-Severn areas. A hillside tram is often not that much more than a set of stairs, and it will receive annual service and safety checks by our qualified team.

If you want stairs, call your physical trainer. You will need to work on those calves! If you want a tram, call us. We'd be happy to provide a no-cost assessment for you.

An estimated $8,000 for an irrigation install would protect this lawn (with an estimated $5,000 installation price, depending on the amount of grading and prep needed to be done).

Or you could water it once in the morning, once at noon, and once again at dinner time, for two to three weeks, depending on weather and other conditions, and once every couple of days once it has matured.

It should be an easy choice. We get why it is not. Everyone has a number they need to stick to. These homeowners are phasing in work and will eventually add irrigation. They know it will be worth the additional investment to protect the one they have already made.
