Into the Looking Glass
Elemental / Luminal Transition
2026

Part of my ongoing exploration between the Elemental and Luminal Pop languages — where sculpture, light, atmosphere, and perception merge into the same object.

A tension between flatness and depth.

NOT FROM HERE
Book One: The Factory Transmission

For years, the sculptures, characters, places, and stories have appeared in fragments.

Now the transmission begins.

Not From Here is the first published journey into Low Orbit City — a world suspended somewhere between mythology, memory, contemporary art, and impossible architecture. A place where cloud-dwellers walk above the weather, forgotten monuments grow gardens, and characters wander between dreams, galleries, cities, and realities.

Printed in black on white, the way the visitors prefer it.

Book One: The Factory Transmission will be released soon through my website.

First transmission.

So it transmits.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, URS

Every year, the citizens of Low Orbit City celebrate Urs’s birthday in the same peculiar way.

They build a giant wax version of Petal Power, light the candles, and wait.

Nobody knows exactly how the tradition started. Some say it honors transformation. Others say it reminds everyone that even the brightest things are temporary.

Petal Power doesn’t seem to mind.

He just smiles, melts, and comes back again next year.

Captain Pink (also known as Gorgeous Gorilla) arrived in Low Orbit City through a forgotten vortex hidden behind the gift shop district — a rebel leader from another galaxy who disappeared after years fighting in the legendary Velvet Howl resistance fleet. Part war hero, part cosmic fugitive, Captain Pink now wanders the city searching less for battle and more for connection, extending oversized fist bumps as symbols of survival, unity, and emotional rebellion. Rarely seen far from his sidekick Fancy Froggy — an overdressed interdimensional strategist known for carrying counterfeit maps, emotional support snacks, and highly questionable advice — the two drift through Low Orbit City like cosmic folk heroes disguised as inflatable cartoons. Built in the language of distorted memory, humor, and emotional resilience, the characters exist somewhere between pop spectacle and myth system — reminders that joy itself can become an act of rebellion in a collapsing universe.

THE KEYHOLE DISTRICT

Every so often, a doorway appears in Low Orbit City that nobody remembers building.

It begins as a shimmer in the air, followed by a glowing keyhole large enough for entire dreams to pass through. Residents gather to watch as impossible visitors emerge one by one—a cheerful caterpillar from the Spiral Meadows, a pearl-coated unicorn from the Cloud Gardens, wandering toy astronauts, oversized bears, and curious creatures from places that don’t exist on any known map.

No one knows exactly where the Keyhole leads. Some say it connects distant neighborhoods of Low Orbit City. Others insist it opens briefly to entirely different dimensions. Princess Queen Sol Joon has never confirmed either theory. She simply smiles whenever it appears, as though she already knows who is coming through next.

In Low Orbit City, the most important arrivals rarely announce themselves. They simply step through the door and become part of the story.

BANANADUCK™
Luminal Pop Series
2026

Sometimes the shortest distance between two ideas is absurdity.

A banana. A duck. A perfectly reasonable solution to a problem nobody was trying to solve.

Part of the ongoing Luminal Pop series, where familiar objects are collapsed together into new forms that feel both inevitable and impossible.

Available as sculpture, print, installation, and edible editions.

FLOATOPIA™ Series

Floatopia™ transforms an ordinary bench into a sculptural celebration of leisure, imagination, and play. Inspired by the colorful chaos of a perfect beach day, oversized inflatable forms stack together to create a larger-than-life gathering place where visitors become part of the artwork itself.

Beach balls, float rings, pillows, serpents, and crocodiles merge into a joyful monument to summer, nostalgia, and shared experiences. Equal parts sculpture, seating, and destination photo moment, Floatopia™ invites people to slow down, connect, and embrace a sense of wonder.

Floatopia™ transforms everyday spaces into memorable destinations that attract visitors and encourage interaction.
