Last week we had two very different events in one day! First we gave a Yahoo at the calgary_first_responders_rodeo running the Video and Audio Distribution

Then we said I do to helping a very special couple have the wedding of their dreams Providing all the Audio and Lighting for their big day!

Time for a Yahoo on our Behind the scenes look of Brents Epic Make-A-Wish Canada adventure!

So, you thought the Calgary Stampede crew would be exhausted after the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth finished, right? WRONG! When DMI asked to borrow the GMC Stadium for Brent's Epic Make a Wish adventure, they saddled up and said what do you have in mind? well what if we drop 20 gallons of marshmallow on a Calgary Police Inspector at the front door, the answer with amazing! we will help clean it up! Then oh we were thinking we would have the mayor on the floor over here and would you be ok if we dumped 5 gallons of green slime on him? they answered with sound like fun! oh and I know you have hundreds of pallets of stampede stuff over here but would you mind if we setup Brent's Ghost catching experience with the Alberta Ghostbusters here the reply was oh thats so fun you bet we can have that moved. well since I have you what about if we invite a crowd of a hundred or so people to give Brent a hero's cheer at the end of his mission and did I mention there would be a 30' inflatable marshmallow man? the answer was this is amazing here is the plug for it!

Thank you to the stampede team for everything they allowed us to do and all the help they provided! now go get that much needed rest!

Shoutout to the squad that made Brent's Ghostbusters dream come true! We've had the pleasure of teaming up with these awesome humans from Alberta Ghostbusters, and let me tell you, they're the real MVPs! Over 50 members strong across Alberta, they're all about spreading the Ghostbusters love while giving back to the community - to the tune of $150,000+ raised for local charities so far! 🎉 They're the ones who brought the magic to make Brent feel like a bonafide Ghostbuster, complete with all the PKE's and ECU! Huge thanks to Alberta Ghostbusters for bringing DMI into the mix for this Make-A-Wish Canada adventure! Remember, Don't cross the streams... or we'll have a Stay Puft sized problem on our hands! 😂

Today's shoutout goes to the amazing Emergency Health Services Alberta crew - what a bunch of rockstars! 🤩 Not only did they have our backs with medical support (just in case, but luckily not needed), but they also went above and beyond to make Brent feel like a total hero in the emergency services community! From radio calls to equipment show-and-tell, and even being part of the motorcade es**rt with the Alberta Ghostbusters , we were so stoked to have had them along for the ride! 🚒👻

More magic unfolds! as we look behind the scenes of last weeks Make-A-Wish Canada Project🎉

Today's Shout out goes to an extraordinary individual who has been an integral part of our journey here at DMI for over a decade and we could have never have even thought to do this project without her! While memories may fade, she ensures they live on forever through her incredible photography skills! 📸 Sadly, we don't have many photos of her as she's always behind the lens, but we managed to capture a few on this project! 📸 Of course, we're talking about the talented Leya Russell Photography ! Leya's dedication to capturing every moment of Brent's adventure with the Alberta Ghostbusters has been truly inspiring! Thank you for your tireless efforts and for helping us create unforgettable memories! 💫

Continuing on our Make-A-Wish Canada story of Brent and to quote ghostbuster "we have to go rap with the mayor!" we wanted to give a big shout out to Mayor Jeromy "Pathfinder" Farkas!

Not only did the Mayor agree to having us rush Brent into his office so he could ask him to save Calgary he memorized the script we gave him and even added in some great lines about how "he was not going to be know as the mayor that let Calgary become the most haunted city west of Winnipeg". When we pitched the idea and asked how he would feel if we covered him in 5 gallons of green slime he was totally in, I think we may owe him a new suit though! After Brent and the Alberta Ghostbusters saved the mayor and the city from Slimer, Brent was awarded the highest honour our city has, he was White hatted! like a key to the city but way more stylish. Thank you Mr Mayor for everything you contributed on this adventure!
