Maltais Homes Inc. is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Red Seal Carpenter to join our team.
This isn’t just another carpentry job. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is excited to mentor apprentices and students entering the trade.
About the Role
As a Red Seal Carpenter, you’ll play a key role in the construction of our modular homes while helping guide and develop less experienced team members. You’ll work alongside a motivated crew in a modern manufacturing environment where quality, efficiency, and teamwork are valued every day.
What You’ll Do
* Construct high-quality residential modular homes.
* Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* Lead by example with exceptional workmanship and professionalism.
* Mentor apprentices, co-op students, and new carpenters entering the trade.
* Share knowledge, techniques, and best practices to help develop future tradespeople.
* Ensure work meets company quality standards and building code requirements.
* Work collaboratively with electricians, plumbers, and other trades throughout the production process.
* Promote a safe, organized, and positive work environment.
Qualifications
* Red Seal Carpenter Certification.
* Residential framing and finishing experience.
* Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building codes.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* A passion for teaching and mentoring others.
* Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
