Bathroom upgrade complete! Sometimes this carpenter puts in another cap, renovates a bathroom and installs a new shower. There were challenges such as floor, walls and ceiling that were severely out of level and plumb…gotta fix ‘em, before you tile…

The old jet tub and dated tiles are now a faded memory leaving a sleek rain shower with thermostatic valve and ease of entry in and out for my retired clients.

A little garage door trim revitalization! Replaced tired and rotting wooden trim details with PVC boards. No painting, low maintenance, no fuss - looks great. Thanks to my new client in Dartmouth for this project.

A little weekend project at Woodside Carpentry headquarters. This new hosta garden box made of left over materials replaces a 4x4 version that many large black ants called home! Marty The Dog had it right all along - sleeping in the job! Good boy.

A built-in bookcase that started out as raw materials in December ‘25, incorporates original trim and brings new life to a tiny room in this 100+ year old house. With a floor that sloped one way and a ceiling that sloped the opposite, it was a challenge…enter Woodside Carpentry!!

More improvements to office lunch areas in this downtown law firm with added cupboards, shelves, counter space and new sink. Historic buildings make for interesting installations…requires a little “give and take” and some creativity.

Added cabinets to create a supply room in this downtown office located in a beautiful old heritage house. Pulled some groovy original nails from the baseboard.

It began as a simple door replacement and turned into fairly involved renovation. Lots of rot under the sill. November rain in Nova Scotia hampered the progress, but I get ‘er done in time for Winter including a nice interior finish.
