It’s Earth Month and there’s a LOT going on at , including papermaking! While my two workshops on Sunday, April 12 are sold out (!!), I encourage you to visit this gem of a natural setting to explore all the great activities on site this weekend. The show is on! ‘Cum Grano Salis’ (“with a grain of salt”) runs until March 28, so catch it at , 401 Richmond Street. Today, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Artists’ talk today, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

It’s very exciting to see my finished piece, ‘Connected/connecté’, on the wall with so many other pieces. The overall theme, curated and organized by , is really engaging as well.

It’s here! My piece is finished and the group show, Cum Grano Salis (Latin for “with a grain of salt”), opens today. Opening Reception is this Saturday, March 7, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. , 401 Richmond St., Toronto, ON. Artist’s talk is on March 21, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

More progress! I’m ’gilding’ the back and inside border of the vessel with foil from Ferrero Rocher foil wrappers. I’m digging the look of the gold ‘shark teeth’ on the front. Stay tuned for the big reveal!!

Process photos. I was invited to contribute to an upcoming group show- my first ever gallery show!! ‘Cum Grano Salis’, at Redhead Gallery, 401 Richmond St., Toronto, ON. March 4 - 28. So excited!

The theme is science fiction/climate fiction, so my piece reflects on climate change, a dystopian future, and the possible extinction of vulnerable species such as great white sharks. It will be a papier-maché and paper collage work in the round, approximately 40 cm in diameter.
