❤️ Giving back to our community

At Borealis Elevator Inc., we believe everyone deserves to feel safe and independent in their own home.

We reached out to Home Instead Sherwood Park to ask if they knew someone who could benefit from a donated porch lift. Thanks to their help, we were able to find someone who needed it, and we’re proud to have donated and installed the lift to make their home more accessible.

For us, this is about more than installing a lift. It’s about helping someone maintain their independence and making everyday life a little easier.

A big thank you to Home Instead for helping us connect with someone who could truly benefit from this donation. We’re grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in our community. ❤️

Ever wonder what that sound is when you're in an elevator?

This is the hydraulic system in action.

When the elevator goes up, a (submersible) pump pushes hydraulic oil from the tank to the piston, which raises the cab. When the elevator goes down, the oil simply returns back to the tank under controlled release (control valve).

Simple system, powerful operation!

Another unique project completed!

This specialized casket lift is a reminder that elevators and lifts come in many forms, each designed for a specific purpose.

As part of this project, we custom fabricated new guide shoes to comply with an AEDARSA directive, helping ensure the lift continues to operate safely and reliably.

From passenger elevators and accessibility lifts to dumbwaiters and casket lifts, our team has the experience to service and maintain a wide range of vertical transportation equipment across Alberta.

Every lift deserves expert care.
